eIM console: tasks with tested values
The hands-on companion to the eIM console guide. Results below were
produced on 4 October 2026 by a principal holding eim: maintain (and
smdpp: maintain, to have a card to register).
Before you start
| Address | eim.rsplab.click/console |
| Role needed | eim: read to look, eim: maintain to register, queue and set a wake target |
| You need | a simulated eSIM — mint one under Simulator, or in the SM-DP+ console |
The service answers its health check with SGP.32 eIM (eSIM IoT remote Manager),
specification GSMA SGP.32 v1.2, ESipa at https://eim.rsplab.click/gsma/rsp2/esipa.
1. Register a eUICC
- Simulator lists your cards — in this run one EID,
89049032202600000200000000058769, not yet registered. - Register it (or type the EID under Register a eUICC).
Expected result. The card appears under eUICCs with counter 0 and a
registration time. A new account starts with an empty list.
2. Queue a package
- Queue a package, EID as above.
- Operation →
listProfileInfo(under Profile state (psmoList)). - Queue package.
Expected result. A package of kind EUICC_PACKAGE, descriptor
listprofileinfo, state PENDING (shown as Queued), with an eIM transaction
id and the signed package. Package queue for the EID lists it, newest first.
A package stays queued until the device’s IPA collects it. A simulated card has no IPA polling, so in this run it stayed queued — that is expected, not a fault.
3. Read what a new card would need
Under the card, open Initial eIM configuration. Leave Request an association token unticked.
Expected result.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| eIM FQDN | eim.rsplab.click |
| eIM ID type | proprietary |
| Counter value | 1 |
| Supported protocol | eimRetrieveHttps |
| ESipa | https://eim.rsplab.click/gsma/rsp2/esipa |
| Public key | an uncompressed P-256 key, 3059301306072A8648CE3D… |
| AddInitialEim command (BF57) | the hex an IPA sends the card, starting BF5781… |
4. Set a device wake target
Under the eUICC row, Device wake → External identifier
docs-probe-meter@lab.invalid, then Save.
Expected result. The row shows the identifier with you as owner. Clear
answers removed: true. Queuing a package with a target set also sends a wake
trigger through the Core console’s exposure function.
5. Read a card’s profiles
Simulator → expand the card. It reads over ES10: in this run one profile, TS.48 test profile, service provider RSP Lab, disabled.
Errors you may meet
| You see | Meaning |
|---|---|
| An empty Package queue for an EID you typed | The EID is not one of yours; the console never shows another owner’s packages |
| No access to the eIM | No grant on the eim project |
Not yet verified
| Capability | Why |
|---|---|
| A package being collected and reported | Needs a running IPA polling the eIM |
download, addEim, deleteEim operations | Not run in this pass; deleteEim on the last eIM strands a card |
