What changed

The version beside the site title is the version of these guides, not of any application. It follows semantic versioning: a new major version when a guide stops describing how an application behaves, a minor version for new guides or sections, a patch for corrections.

v1.5.0 — 3 October 2026

  • New guide: the Core console. Block a stolen phone, wake an IoT device and watch a line, and see what speed a line gets and why.
  • eIM console: Device wake wakes a device when a package is queued.
  • Telecom Toolkit: the Lab phone tool.

v1.4.0 — 30 September 2026

  • Entitlement console, device emulator: Messages sends texts between your lab phones and shows each one delivered; a text uses one message of the plan. Airplane mode holds texts until the phone is back. The Lab bank also signs in with a code sent by SMS.
  • Entitlement console: the Developer clients tab, and Lines shows which phones can get SMS.
  • OTA console: Send delivers to a simulated card as a real SMS.

v1.3.0 — 30 September 2026

  • Entitlement console, device emulator: the phone makes calls. Wi-Fi calling now also registers with the lab’s IMS, and the status bar shows VoWiFi. New screens: Phone (calls to your other lab phones, with the call log), Call settings (forwarding, barring, hiding your number) and Usage (data and minutes). Messages is a real SMS app.
  • Entitlement console: Lines shows which lines are registered for calls, and Services shows what taking Wi-Fi calling away does to a registered phone. Two new Demo cards: calls between two phones, and calls withdrawn.

v1.2.0 — 23 September 2026

  • Applet Lab: a corrected Quick path — the TERMINAL PROFILE is sent for you after every install — and new sections for The phone screen, Phone answers and S@T pages. The samples lists all eleven worked examples.
  • eSIM simulator: Cards nobody uses are removed, and why a shared card cannot be scrapped.
  • ASN.1 Editor: Test on a device — installing a decoded profile onto a simulated phone, the three device types, and how to read a refusal. Plus Your test phones — seeing how many you hold, and scrapping them from the editor.
  • Telecom Toolkit: Entitlement notes what a move looks like when the rules say to always sign in.
  • Admin panel: Users and clients notes the layout on a phone.

v1.1.0 — 18 September 2026

  • Entitlement console: the Demo tab, and new sections for Transfers, Services, Operations and Configuration (the connectivity check and the error map).
  • Telecom Toolkit: the Entitlement tool — services with their activation pages, RCS, transfer rules, moving a line step by step, and the activity log.

v1.0.0 — 10 September 2026

The first versioned release, and the first to be user guides only.

  • Guides for twelve applications: the SM-DP+, eIM, SM-DP, SM-SR, OTA and Entitlement consoles, the eSIM simulator, Applet Lab, the Attach Flow Inspector, the ASN.1 Editor, the Telecom Toolkit and the Admin panel.
  • A single page on signing in and access, which every guide links to rather than repeating.
  • Screenshots captured from the live applications by a script, so they can be retaken whenever an application changes. Personal details and activation codes are removed from every capture.
  • Architecture, protocol and build documentation moved to a separate, restricted engineering site.
